Scope of Role:The Manager - Legal will serve as a high-level individual contributor, providing expert legal support to the Head of Legal. This role is responsible for executing complex legal strategies, managing high-value transactions, and ensuring the company’s interests are protected through meticulous drafting, negotiation, and litigation oversight.Location: NH Corporate Office, Bommasandra, BangaloreExperience: 9 - 12 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in a corporate legal setup or a reputed law firm.Proven track record in managing complex litigations and high-stakes contract negotiations.Deep understanding of Corporate Law, Healthcare Regulations, and Compliance frameworks.Qualifications: LLB/ LLMKey Deliverables:1. Contract Management & TransactionsLead and manage the drafting, structuring, and negotiation of a wide range of agreements, from standard commercial contracts to complex, high-value domestic and international transactions.Provide legal oversight for new business initiatives, including the setup of new units/entities, M&A due diligence, and licensing requirements.2. Litigation & Dispute ResolutionManage the company’s entire litigation portfolio.Identify and manage external counsels, review petitions/pleadings, and coordinate effective courtroom representation.Maintain a real-time litigation tracker and provide periodic status updates to the leadership.3. Strategic Advisory & ComplianceOffer actionable legal solutions to complex business challenges by balancing legal risks with commercial priorities.Oversee statutory compliance across all applicable laws; lead the automation of compliance oversight processes to ensure 100% adherence.Advise internal stakeholders on the legal implications of business decisions and various regulatory developments in the healthcare domain.4. Training & Knowledge ManagementDesign and conduct training sessions for internal teams on legal risks, negligent services, and preventive measures.Keep the organization updated on evolving laws, particularly those impacting healthcare and corporate governance.5. Departmental ExcellenceCollaborate with the reporting manager to refine legal practice standards.Drive continuous improvement in departmental processes, reporting, and operational efficiency.Skills Required:BI tools, Google Suits, Document ManagementStrong communication skillsStrong ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders.Experience in automation of legal/compliance processes is a significant advantage.
