Every challenge we take on has real consequences and real impact.With a sharp focus on user obsession, ownership, and collaboration, we’re building a workplace where people thrive when they take bold bets, move fast, and build with empathy.If you’re looking to work where scale meets purpose, complexity fuels learning, and culture isn’t an afterthought, Porter is the place.Your Responsibilities:Ensuring comprehensive legal compliance for all international business operations, staying current with the diverse regulatory landscapes of every operating jurisdictionCoordinating effectively with global external counsel to manage litigation, navigate local legal requirements, and ensure cohesive legal strategy across the enterpriseManaging all legal aspects pertinent to international business expansion, from structuring and licensing to employment contracts and cross-border data transfer agreementsLeading the corporate data privacy function, serving as the primary authority on data governance and ethical data use practicesEnsuring strict compliance with relevant laws like the DPDP, implementing frameworks for data mapping and incident responseManaging vendor activities related to data protection through rigorous due diligence, contract negotiations, and ongoing monitoring of third-party compliance standardsOverseeing the protection, maintenance, and enforcement of the company’s entire IP portfolio, including proactive monitoring for potential infringement across global marketsProviding expert legal guidance and counsel on employment law matters, advising leadership on compliance with central, state, and municipal labor regulationsNegotiating and reviewing essential IT agreements, structuring terms that protect company data, define service levels, and limit liability in technology partnershipsManaging standard vendor contracts and SaaS agreements by streamlining the review process, identifying key risks, and ensuring favorable terms for the businessAdvising stakeholders on the legal implications of IT services, products, software acquisitions, and technology partnerships, enabling sound decision-making aligned with risk toleranceSkills and attributes:Uphold the highest ethical standards, maintain a professional demeanor in dynamic environments, and manage diverse stakeholder expectations effectivelyDemonstrate strong problem-solving skills, leveraging innovative thinking with a focus on project executionIdentify and contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficienciesExperience And Qualifications:Law Graduate/ LL.B with 4 - 7 years of relevant post-qualification experience Well-developed analytical, interpersonal, and communication (both verbal and written) skills
