Junior IPR Lawyer

We work with startups, SMEs, corporates, and global partners to protect and maximize their IP assets.Role OverviewWe are looking for a Junior IPR Lawyer to join our Legal Team in Bangalore.The role involves drafting, prosecution, litigation support, contract drafting, research, and client coordination across multiple IP domains. You will work closely with senior lawyers and be involved in real-time IP matters spanning trademarks, copyrights, designs, patents, agreements, and enforcement.Key ResponsibilitiesIP Prosecution & AdvisoryAssist in filing and managing TM, copyright, and design applications.Draft responses to examination reports, oppositions, rectifications, and renewals.Support hearings and official correspondences.Contract Drafting & DocumentationDraft and vet agreements: NDAs, licensing, assignments, technology transfer, franchise agreements, etc.Prepare legal notices, replies, affidavits, and supporting documentation.Litigation SupportAssist in IP litigation drafting, case file preparation, evidence compilation, and brief creation.Conduct legal research, case law analysis, and infringement assessment.Coordinate with external counsels and manage filing schedules.IP Audit, Valuation & ComplianceSupport IP audits, due diligence, and valuation exercises.Ensure adherence to statutory deadlines and compliance requirements.Client & Internal CoordinationCommunicate with clients for updates, documentation, and clarifications.Work with paralegal and operations teams for smooth workflow management.What We’re Looking ForLL.B from a recognized university (IP specialization preferred).Strong understanding of trademark, copyright, design, and patent fundamentals.Good drafting skills — agreements, notices, and litigation documents.Strong legal research & analytical ability.Excellent written and verbal communication.Ability to multitask and work under timelines.Prior internship/experience in an IP firm is an added advantage.Why Join Trumarx?Hands-on exposure across the full spectrum of IP practice.Opportunity to work directly with senior experts.Structured growth in a fast-expanding IP firm.Collaborative and process-driven environment.Location: Bangalore (On-site)
