Lead GCP Data Engineer with AI (US Healthcare) - Immediate Joiner

Role OverviewWe are looking for a highly experienced Lead GCP Data Engineer with AI & US Healthcare to design, build, and scale modern data platforms on Google Cloud. The ideal candidate will bring 9–12 years of experience, strong data engineering expertise, and proven leadership capabilities, along with a mandatory background in the US Healthcare domain. Experience in Provider Credentialing (enrolment, licensing, compliance workflows) will be considered a strong advantage.Additionally, the role requires hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (Gemini, ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, Cursor, etc.) to drive efficiency, automation, and high-quality code delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the architecture, design, and development of scalable data platforms on GCPProvide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to data engineering teamsBuild, optimize, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for healthcare data processingDesign and manage data models for analytics, reporting, and regulatory complianceProcess and integrate large-scale US healthcare datasets across multiple systemsEnsure high-quality data integration, transformation, and validation aligned with healthcare standardsImplement data quality frameworks, audit mechanisms, and validation pipelinesDrive adoption of AI-powered coding tools to improve development productivity and code qualityCollaborate with business, compliance, and healthcare stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutionsOptimize BigQuery performance and manage cloud costs efficientlyEstablish CI/CD pipelines, DataOps practices, and monitoring frameworksLead migration and modernization initiatives from legacy systems (e.g., Teradata) to GCPEnsure adherence to data security, governance, and HIPAA compliance requirementsMaintain comprehensive documentation for pipelines, architectures, and workflowsRequired SkillsData Engineering & GCPStrong expertise in ETL/ELT development, advanced SQL, Python, and data warehousing conceptsHands-on experience with BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud ComposerHealthcare Domain (Mandatory)Solid experience working with US Healthcare data (claims, member, provider, clinical, or enrollment data)Understanding of regulatory and compliance standards including HIPAAAI & Modern EngineeringPractical experience using AI-assisted development tools (Gemini, ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, Cursor, etc.)Ability to leverage AI for code generation, automation, optimization, and troubleshootingDevOps & DataOpsExperience with CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)Monitoring and observability using Cloud Logging and Cloud MonitoringStrong understanding of security practices including IAM and data governanceLocations: Bangalore / Pune / Hyderabad / ChennaiShift: 2 PM to 11 PM ISTWork Mode: Hybrid
