Data & AI Technical Lead - Innovation Hub

We are seeking a Data & AI Lead for a small Innovation Hub to deliver proofs of concept (PoCs) and reusable assets, for various usecases withn Financial Services, with a focus on GRC domains (AML, Financial Crime, Risk & Compliance).Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end delivery of Data & AI PoCs and innovation prototypesBuild reusable technical assets, accelerators, and reference architecturesDesign governed semantic and logical data layersImplement data virtualization and federated data access patternsApply DataOps and MLOps practices for repeatable PoC deliveryDesign cloud-native solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP (based on client needs)Shape GenAI / LLM PoCs (RAG, knowledge retrieval, case summarization, data discovery)Develop domain-aligned data models for AML, Risk, and ComplianceMentor and lead a small engineering team (2–5 members)Present PoC outcomes to business, IT, and compliance stakeholdersRequired Skills & Experience10–14 years in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or AI/Data Solutioning.Strong experience in: Data architecture & data modeling; Data integration & distributed data systems; Data virtualization & semantic layer design and SQL + Python.Practical experience in DataOps and/or MLOps practices.Experience building modular, API-driven, reusable components.Multi-cloud solution design experience (AWS / Azure / GCP).Working knowledge of LLM and GenAI solution patterns.Strong Financial Services domain background.Experience in GRC domains — AML, Financial Crime, Risk, Compliance.Proven experience leading small technical teams.Preferred / Nice-to-HaveExperience with data virtualization platforms (e.g., Denodo).Experience with data science & AutoML platforms (e.g., Dataiku).Exposure to AI-enabled data platforms and data fabric approaches.Relevant cloud / data / AI certifications.To know more about us, please visit: you apply, you voluntarily consent to the disclosure, collection and use of your personal data for employment/recruitment and related purposes in accordance with the SCIENTE Group Privacy Policy, a copy of which is published at SCIENTE’s website (is assured, and only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
