PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to bring order to complex, unstructured data problems.Review data engineering deliverables, data models, and transformation logic for quality and accuracy.Own status reporting, milestone tracking, and delivery governance for assigned workstreams.Adherence to SLAs with experience in incident, change, and problem management within managed services.Review own work and that of others for data quality, modeling standards, and architectural alignment.Demonstrate sound judgment in selecting appropriate tools and patterns and clearly articulate rationale.Seek and embrace opportunities providing exposure to diverse platforms, industries, and delivery models.Communicate in a clear, structured manner when influencing stakeholders and team members.Build and maintain strong client relationships by adapting communication and leadership style.Uphold the firm’s code of ethics and business conduct.Demonstrate leadership by working directly with clients and leading data engineering engagements.Work collaboratively in a team environment with cross-functional and cross-competency teams.Actively contributes to COE initiatives, accelerators, standards, and best practices.Proactively manage risks, escalations, and dependencies across delivery.Position RequirementsRequired SkillsPrimary Skills (Mandatory): Data Vault 2.0 (Hubs, Links, Satellites, Business Vault); dbt (core/cloud), WhereScape (RED/3D); Informatica (PowerCenter/IDMC); Cloud Data Warehouse, Advanced SQL, ELT and CDC, Orchestration (Bhoomi), Git and CI/CD for dataSecondary Skills: Teradata, Python, SSIS, ServiceNow, Jira, Healthcare insurance domain knowledge (payer: claims, eligibility, provider, HIPAA)Required Skills & Experience:Minimum 6 years of experience in enterprise data engineering and managed data & analytics programs.Lead the design, review, and governance of Data Vault 2.0 architectures, including: (Hubs, Links, Satellites), Business Vault constructs Downstream consumption and semantic layersStrong experience in WhereScape and Informatica for data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and automation.Ability to translate business requirements into scalable data models and transformation designs, particularly in the health insurance domain (claims, members, providers, policies).Guide teams in implementing best practices for data modeling, historization, auditability, and scalability.Provide technical oversight for data pipeline performance, reliability, and data quality.Support and influence migration strategy from traditional ETL to dbt and cloud-native ELT architectures.Partner with DevOps and platform teams to enable CI/CD, version control, automated testing, and controlled deployments.Strong expertise in writing and reviewing complex SQL and transformation logic.Experience delivering Managed Data & Analytics services, including SLA-driven support and enhancements.Lead requirement discussions with business and technology stakeholders; manage dependencies and delivery risks.Effectively communicate project status, risks, and outcomes throughout the delivery lifecycle.Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and stakeholder management skills.Nice to HaveExperience with dbt implementation or migration programs.Cloud certifications (Azure / AWS / GCP / Snowflake).Exposure to data governance, metadata management, lineage, and data quality frameworks.Experience working in regulated environments (Health Insurance, Healthcare, HIPAA).DevOps or DataOps certifications or hands-on exposure.
