This is a hands-on leadership role, combining deep technical expertise with team mentorship, product thinking, and execution ownership.You will lead by example i.e.architecting high-performance systems, mentoring engineers, and working closely with product, design, and business stakeholders in a fast-paced startup environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage full-stack development using Python, Django, and Next.jsDesign and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable system architecturesCollaborate with product, design, and operations teams to deliver high-impact featuresConduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and drive engineering excellenceMentor developers through technical guidance, reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessionsManage CI/CD pipelines for reliable and efficient deploymentsMonitor system performance, ensure uptime, and resolve production issues promptlyProactively evaluate and recommend technologies to improve scalability and performancePlease review the above carefully and let us know if this aligns with your expectations and readiness, especially around relocation, WFO commitment, and ownership responsibilities.Key Challenges & Must-HavesStrong fundamentals and core engineering basics are mandatoryPrior experience working in a startup environment and willingness to thrive in fast-paced, evolving setupsWork from Office – Bangalore (5 days a week) is non-negotiableRelocation readiness is critical; past relocation-related backouts have been a concernMust be hands-on and willing to take complete ownership of the system as a Tech Lead, beyond individual contribution Weak understanding of databases (schema design, queries, optimisation).
