Senior Frontend Developer

About the roleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Amorphic engineering team and contribute to building exceptional user interfaces. You will play a key role in enhancing our product and significantly impacting customer user experience while mentoring junior team members.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership: Architect, design, and implement scalable web applications.Collaboration: Work closely with UX team, backend engineers, and stakeholders to define user interfaces, software architectures, and establish efficient workflows & APIsOperational Excellence: Build user-friendly interfaces that simplify complex cloud technologies and enhance overall platform usabilityProject Planning: Provide technical inputs during design phases, plan development timelines, and track project progress to ensure successful deliveryDevelopment: Drive active software development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React to bring designs to lifeProduct Ownership: Take ownership of frontend product features from conception to delivery, driving product decisions and ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needsInnovation: Design and develop prototype solutions to support evolving business requirementsMentorship: Guide junior developers, conduct thorough code reviews, and manage code repositoriesQuality Assurance: Ensure technical feasibility of visual designs and UX components, proactively identify and resolve bugs, and conduct thorough issue detection across applicationsRequired QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldExperience: 5+ years of frontend development experience with demonstrated success in shipping complex web applications, driving product decisions, and prioritizing user-centered design principlesTechnical Skills:Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript fundamentals and React ecosystem with solid understanding of design principles and patternsStrong experience with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Context API)Experience with RESTful API development and integrationProficiency with design tools (Figma) and ability to translate designs into functional codeAdvanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern CSS frameworksExperience with build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite, etc.)Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelinesPreferred QualificationsExperience with building large scale responsive applications, especially SaaS applications.UI/UX design experience and understanding of design principlesExperience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Testing Library)Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)Experience with cloud platforms and deployment strategies
