This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about database technologies and motivated to lead in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Major ResponsibilitiesKnowledge in Oracle + postgres Database maintenance and error handlingAdvanced knowledge in rman and postgres dump.Performance tuning– statement level as well as DB parameters in both databases.Performance analysis in both Oracle and PostgresHigh knowledge in PLSQL programmingKnowledge in pgpool and Postgres cluster tools, creation and maintenanceSimilar knowledge to the above in mysql – advantageKnowledge in Elastic Search – Installation, tunning, monitoring - Advantage.Management of DBA operations team.Ongoing operations of databases in MIS. 1st tier for database malfunctionsDesired Background7+ years experience in Oracle and MySQL databases (database creation, knowledge about the various database objects such as indexes, analyze logs, problem detection, rman, backup, restore, knowledge in performance tunning – advantage, PLSQL).2+ years of experience in leading the team. Linux OS shell scripting – basic knowledgeStrong knowledge in Postgres – AdvantageKnowledge in Elastic Search – Installation, tunning, monitoring - AdvantageHigh level of English, both written and verbal.Relevant management experience
