Lead Software Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:Performing design, coding, unit testing and ensuring conformance to the team s development process and standardsReview of requirements and/or systems analysis documents for completenessWorking with the Deployment Lead, peer developers to complete various project deployment activitiesEnsure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applicationsTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new featuresUtilize AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity and efficiency across the team Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do soQualifications - ExternalRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field8+ years of overall software engineering experienceExperience deploying and operating code in a major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, OCI, Google Cloud)Experience in financial technology domainExperience with high volume transaction sitesExperience working with applications deployed in private or public cloudExperience in customer facing productsProficient in one or more modern programming languages such as C#, Golang, Node.js, JavaProven good oral and written communication SkillsProven ability to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skillsProven ability to quickly learn new technologies and leverage them to solve business problems
