Role: AVP, Head of Claims OperationsLocation: BengaluruExperience: 10+ YearsLevel: AVPRole Overview:We are looking for an experienced Head of Claims Operations (AVP) to lead global claims execution, governance, and analytics for Insurance & Alternative Solutions (IAS).This is a strategic leadership role responsible for building a scalable, data-driven claims operating model across regions, while partnering closely with global stakeholders to enhance risk outcomes and portfolio value.Key Responsibilities:Lead and implement a global claims operating model across lines of businessOwn claims data, analytics, and performance reporting (KPIs, trends, large loss insights)Drive governance, standardization, and process discipline across regionsManage third-party vendors (TPAs, adjusters) and ensure SLA adherencePartner with Technology teams to enable automation and AI-led claims transformationOversee APAC claims operations and act as regional point of contactLead and develop India-based claims team, driving capability building and performanceCollaborate with underwriting, finance, and portfolio stakeholders to influence decisionsWhat We’re Looking For:10+ years of experience in claims/ insurance operations across multiple linesStrong expertise in claims analytics, reporting, and process designExperience in global stakeholder management and cross-functional collaborationProven leadership experience in team management and capability buildingFamiliarity with RMIS platforms (e.g., Origami Risk)Exposure to APAC insurance markets and multi-region operations preferredExperience in automation, analytics, or AI-led transformation initiatives is a strong plusWhy This Role:High visibility role with direct impact on risk strategy and portfolio performanceBlend of strategy, operations, analytics, and leadershipChance to build and scale next-generation claims capabilities (data + AI)In today’s insurance landscape, claims are no longer just about resolution; they are one of the most powerful sources of insight into risk, resilience, and future decision-making.
