Job SummaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented Insurance Specialist with hands-on experience in motor/auto insurance claims processing. The role involves managing end-to-end claims lifecycle, coordinating with customers, surveyors, garages, and insurers to ensure timely and accurate claim settlement.Key Responsibilities1. Claims Processing & HandlingManage end-to-end motor insurance claimsRegister claims and verify policy coverageReview claim documents, estimate reports, and repair invoicesEnsure accurate and timely claim adjudication and settlement2. Coordination & Stakeholder ManagementLiaise with customers, surveyors, garages, and insurance companiesFollow up for pending documents and approvalsCoordinate inspections and claim assessments3. Documentation & ComplianceMaintain complete and accurate claim filesEnsure adherence to IRDAI guidelines and internal policiesIdentify and flag fraudulent or suspicious claims4. Customer SupportProvide updates to customers on claim statusResolve queries related to claim settlement and coverageEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction and TAT adherence5. Reporting & MISTrack claim status, TAT, and closure metricsPrepare daily/weekly MIS reportsHighlight delays, escalations, and improvement areasRequired Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of motor insurance claimsUnderstanding of claims lifecycle (FNOL to settlement)Familiarity with insurance portals and claim management systemsGood communication and negotiation skillsAttention to detail and problem-solving abilityEligibility CriteriaGraduate in any discipline (Insurance/Finance preferred)2-5 years of experience in motor/auto insurance claimsExperience with Auto/Motor Insurance companies, TPAs, or brokers preferredPreferred ExperienceExperience in handling high-volume claimsExposure to cashless & reimbursement claimsKnowledge of garage networks and survey processes
