Position: Nuclear Medicine Physician & RSO-2Location: BangaloreExperience: 3–5 YearsQualification: MD / DNB in Nuclear Medicine + RSO Certification (AERB)We are seeking a qualified and experienced Nuclear Medicine Physician with RSO-2 certification to manage diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures while ensuring compliance with radiation safety standards. The role involves clinical responsibilities along with regulatory oversight as a Radiation Safety Officer.Clinical ResponsibilitiesDosage & Administration: Prescribe and supervise precise radiopharmaceutical dosing; ensure patient immobilization and procedure optimization to minimize radiation absorption.Specialized Protocols: Justify and manage procedures for high-risk groups (pediatric, pregnant, and lactating patients), ensuring fetal/infant doses stay below 1 mGy.Therapeutic Planning: Implement dose fractionation and provide specialized counseling on post-therapy precautions and pregnancy avoidance.Patient Management: Manage isolation for high-activity cases and obtain informed consent for all therapies.Safety & ComplianceRegulatory Oversight: Maintain full compliance with radiation safety laws (AERB), licensing, and mandatory reporting.Monitoring & Records: Track staff exposure levels and maintain meticulous records of dosages and procedures.Incident Control: Prevent and promptly report any misadministration, adverse reactions, or contamination risks to competent authorities.
