System Engineer

Key Responsibilities Architect and review system integration designs and diagrams for residential energy storage systemsPartner closely with electrical, firmware, mechanical, test, and manufacturing teams to deliver highly integrated, production-ready designs Define critical systems specifications and work with cross functional engineering teams to deliver on product development milestones.Provide technical mentorship, design reviews, and team development leadership Support feedforward from on market products to improve system design for new product development Minimum Qualifications BSEE or MSEE with 10+ years of experience in relevant engineering development or similar field Strong background in electronics design, embedded systems, and/or mechanical engineeringHands-on lab experience with validation, debugging, and test automation tools Familiar with design constraints related to thermal, safety, and manufacturability Track record of cross-functional execution in new product development settings Prior experience with design documentation best practicesExperience with high quality, high reliability products. Long warranty, high stress environments.Preferred Qualifications Experience with energy systems, IoT devices, or embedded hardware in regulated environments Exposure to compliance testing (UL/IEC/EMC) and design transfer to contract manufacturingTechnical knowledge in Electrical Engineering, Firmware Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.Technical leadership experience debugging and solving complex systems problems
