Supports a team of Engineers and Draftsmen to execute the production of airfield design projects at various stages, from concept design up to Issue For Construction (IFC). Proficiency with design software packages such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, AviPLANCoordinates and contributes to production and review of technical design documents, reports, presentations, specifications, tender documents etc.Services will include:Design of Airfield Geometry (horizontal & vertical design of runways, taxiways, aprons, airside vehicle service roads etc.)Preparation of construction phasing plansSupport with Airport Master Planning Team to develop airfield configurations, apron planning, and parking stand optimizationGrading of airfieldAirfield pavement markings Demolition plansUtility relocation and protectionAnalyse GIS data, client as-built, survey data, geotechnical data, subsurface utility information and data needed for project developmentInclude preparing scopes, budgets and schedulesCoordination with other disciplines like pavement, drainage, AGL, structures etc.Proficiency in spoken and written English, report writing and synopsesQualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master’s degree preferred)Minimum 10 years of experience in Airfield engineering and Airfield PlanningInternational airport project experience preferred (Greenfield or Brownfield)Strong understanding of ICAO, FAA, EASA, and other local civil aviation authority standards and airport civil design principles. Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and software like AviPLAN, Pathplanner, or equivalent softwareExcellent analytical, report writing, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlinesAdditional InformationStrong analytical and problem-solving mindset. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
