Component Engineering Skills and Competence: 6 to 8 years Hands-on Experience on Component EngineeringBachelor Degree with in Electronics or Electrical/ElectronicsStrong Technical Knowledge on Electronic Components (Specifically entire Discrete and Passive Category) – Basic and working Principle, Packages, Suppliers, compliance and Regulatory, etc.Hands-on experience on all major Component Manufacturer on Discrete and Passives. Experience on Tier3 (China based) Suppliers is a plusHands-on Automotive standard and regulatory knowledge on Electronic Components – Complete understanding of AECQ and IATFProduction Part Approval Process (PPAP) – Worked experience on reading and reviewing Supplier PPAP Documents in accordance with AECQ requirementsReview and Assign new Visteon Part Number – Taking into considerations on Technical Reviews, Risk Reviews, Compliance and Regulatory reviews, etc.Component Lifecycle Management – Proactive and reactive methodologyReview and understand Supplier Change request or PCN/PDNs, assess impact analysis, propose require actions based on type of changes.Hands-on Experience On Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Tools like DMS, Agile, Enovia, Teamcenter, etc. The DMS based experience is a plus
