QA / Test Engineer – API & Automation (CRM / Telephony / AI)Job DescriptionWe are looking to hire a QA / Test Engineer to support a CRM and Call Centre Telephony platform built on API-driven services using Python, Java, and .NET. The role requires strong manual and automation testing skills, with a primary focus on API testing.The tester will work in an Agile, sprint-based environment, ensuring testing runs in parallel with development. All test activities will be managed using Quality in Jira.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and execute manual and automated API test casesTest REST APIs built on Python, Java, and .NET platformsPerform System Integration Testing (SIT) across multiple servicesExecute smoke and regression testingTest CRM and telephony workflows (call flows, agent states, routing)Validate AI transcription APIs and outputsLog, track, and retest defects with clear reproduction stepsMaintain test cases and execution results in Quality in JiraSupport UAT and Go-Live test sign-offRequired Skills & Experience3–5 years of experience in software testingStrong hands-on experience in API testing (manual + automation)Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP methods, and status codesExperience testing backend systems built on Python, Java, or .NETExperience with API automation and regression testingExperience working in Agile / Scrum teamsFamiliarity with Jira and test management toolsStrong defect analysis and communication skillsGood to HaveCRM or Call Centre domain experienceKnowledge of telephony concepts (call flows, agent states, queues)Exposure to Asterisk / SIP / VoIPExperience testing AI or transcription APIsBasic load or performance testing exposureWork ModeOnsite – 5 days per week (Bengaluru)NoteThis role requires a hands-on tester with strong API expertise.Manual-only or UI-only profiles are not suitable.
