Test Engineer

Key responsibilitiesDesign, develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts for Pega applications.Create and execute functional, regression, integration and API test cases; own defect life cycle.Collaborate with developers and business SMEs to review requirements, acceptance criteria and testability.Build and run CI/CD integrated test suites; analyze test results and provide actionable reports.Mentor junior testers and contribute to test process improvements and automation coverage metrics.Must-have skills & experience5+ years in QA with minimum 2+ years focused on Pega application testing.Strong automation experience using tools/languages such as Selenium, Java (or Python), TestNG/JUnit, REST API testing (Postman/RestAssured) and BDD (Cucumber) frameworks.Hands-on experience with Pega testing concepts (e.g., rules, flows, assignments, portals) and testing Pega case management solutions.Experience integrating tests with CI/CD (Jenkins/Azure DevOps/GitLab).Solid understanding of Agile methodology, test planning, and defect management tools (JIRA).Good SQL skills and experience validating backend data.Excellent communication skills and ability to work with distributed teams.Nice-to-haveExperience with Pega Unit testing tools or Pega-specific testing approaches.Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter) or security testing basics.Pega CSA/CPBA certification.
