CAM/DFM Engineer

Location: BangaloreDepartment: Engineering / Design for ManufacturingEmployment type: Full-time Job description:We are looking for a skilled CAM/DFM Engineer to join our Bangalore team. In this role, you will work closely with our PCB design and manufacturing teams to ensure that designs are manufacturable, optimized for assembly, and compliant with customer requirements. You will analyze Gerber files, define stack-ups, select materials, and provide technical support throughout the design-to-fab process. Key responsibilities:Analyze Gerber files and technical specifications provided by customersMeet customer quotation data, define stack-ups, and select appropriate materials for PCB designsProvide expertise in Genesis 2000 and troubleshoot technical issues faced by engineersManage arrayed jobs, routing, retention, and scoring, including plated/non-plated slots and cutoutsWork with rigid-flex, flex, and HDI technologies to ensure manufacturabilityCollaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to recommend improvements and prevent design issuesMaintain technical documentation and support knowledge-sharing within the team Required skills and qualifications:BE/BSC/MSC/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computers, or ITStrong experience in PCB CAM and DFM processes, preferably in high-density or complex PCB designsProficient in PCB design tools, stack-up definitions, and fabrication constraintsExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skillsDetail-oriented, able to handle multiple projects, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
