Location- Chennai, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, Bhopal, Varanasi / Gorakhpur / AllahabadAbout Role:This role requires to understand what the emerging trends in the job market are, job roles / skills that are in demand across various regions and domains, forge partnerships with top employers in identified domains, and leverage these partnerships to counsel, train, place and provide post placement support to the aspiring students, thus contributing to the overall outcomes of WGO.Key Responsibilities:Study the job market across regions and chart out a strategic road map to meet the WGO goals through Employer channel.Establish strategic partnerships with top 5 employers in the sectors identified by the Foundation (Retail, Healthcare, BFSI, ITES, Auto, Beauty and Wellness,Hospitality) and with the respective sector skill councils (NASSCOM, CII, RASHI, Healthcare, BFSI council……)Responsible for formation of Industry Advisory Council in each of the identified sectors and leverage their knowledge to upgrade WGO offerings.Leverage these partnerships to curate / aggregate / upgrade / digitize / validate the content of various modules & train and place studentsIdentify and launch pilot programs with each partner to validate the model.Skills & Experience:5-8 years of experience in B2C, education, or skilling ecosystemStrong expertise in the skilling ecosystem (VTP/VTI, Govt. & education partners)Proven experience in driving large-scale/national-level programsAbility to build and manage strong employer & stakeholder networksStrategic thinker with experience in tech-enabled/innovative modelsStrong analytical and data-driven decision-making skillsTech-savvy with exposure to EdTech platforms and digital toolsDemonstrated team leadership and people management experienceStrong problem-solving skills with ability to work in ambiguityHigh ownership, execution focus, and willingness to travel extensivelyTo apply, please reach out to Arundhati Panigrahi at
