You will proactively and reactively manage network and security devices, troubleshoot incidents, implement solutions,and deploy upgrades. As a Principal Technical Consultant, you will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring successful customer experiences with Fortinet technologies while providing escalation management and risk mitigationJob Location: Bangalore/Gurugram, IndiaRelevant Experience: 12 years+ResponsibilitiesProvide reactive/proactive technical support to top-tier customers.- Perform fault isolation and root cause analysis for complex issues.- Manage support cases, document solutions, and publish technical bulletins.- Configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Fortinet and Cisco devices.- Prepare and execute change requests; analyze capacity reports and propose improvements.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Helpdesk, Service Delivery Managers, Vendors).- Act on incidents reported via monitoring tools or customer service desk.- Deliver client-facing presentations and improvement plans.- Ensure compliance with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem management).Primary SkillsForti SASE, Forti SDWAN - Expert in migration, projects, BAU activities;SME-level expertise.- Secondary Skills: FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, Cisco ASA/FTD, Palo Alto (Firewall, Panorama).- Mandatory Skills: Cisco Routing & Switching.- Added Advantages:* Fortinet: FortiAuthenticator, FortiNAC, FortiSwitch, FortiClient, Secure Wireless LAN.- Other Vendors: Cisco Wireless, Cisco ACI, Meraki (Wireless, SDWAN), F5 Load Balancer, Cisco ISE.CertificationsDesired: Fortinet Certified Professional in Network Security (FortiGate Administrator + electives such as FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer).Nice to Have: PCNSE/PCNSA, CCNP/CCIE Security, CCNP/CCIE Routing & Switching.Graduate/Master's degree holderSoft SkillsCustomer-focused with a proactive attitude.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication (verbal & written).Team player with initiative and ownership
