Skills and Qualifications RequiredA Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in the related field.Valid Teaching Certification(s).Experience teaching as per IB and CIE Curriculum across school.At least 4 - 5 years of full-time teaching experience in the relevant subject areas.Inter-culturally aware with well-developed interpersonal skills.Computer skills at a level that permits the creative and effective use of technology in the classroom.Specific ResponsibilitiesDesign, plan, and implement physical education lessons as per curriculumCreate appealing lessons that implement a variety of methodologiesGuiding students in maintaining acceptable standards of classroom behaviorCultivate student awareness and ownership of personal performanceEncourage teamwork as to set collective and personal development goalsMeasure student progress to encourage the mastery of school district/state/national standardsMaintaining records of individual student achievement and evaluating students on a continuous basisAttending faculty and parent-teacher meetings
