As we continue to expand our EV portfolio, we are looking for a highly driven and execution-focused Project Manager professional to lead cross-functional program governance and ensure seamless delivery of critical vehicle development initiatives.This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced automotive environments and possess strong capabilities in program tracking, stakeholder coordination, risk management, and engineering execution governance.Role PurposeThe Project Manager will be responsible for driving end-to-end program governance, execution tracking, and milestone management across EV product development programs.The role will act as the central coordination function between Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Procurement, and external partners to ensure programs are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to business objectives.The incumbent will play a critical role in monitoring engineering deliverables, managing program risks, tracking industrialization readiness, and enabling leadership visibility across all key development milestones.Program Governance & Execution TrackingDrive end-to-end PMO governance for EV and automotive product development programs across multiple vehicle platforms and ongoing projects.Track critical New Product Development (NPD) milestones including:Concept FreezeDesign ReleasePrototype BuildsVehicle ValidationHomologationPilot ProductionSOP ReadinessEnsure milestone adherence, dependency tracking, and timely closure of program deliverables.Cross-Functional CoordinationCollaborate closely with:Vehicle EngineeringElectrical & Electronics IntegrationBattery & Powertrain TeamsSupply ChainManufacturingQualityProcurementVendor DevelopmentExternal Engineering PartnersFacilitate seamless coordination between cross-functional teams to drive execution efficiency and issue resolution.Project Planning & MonitoringDevelop and maintain integrated project plans covering:Engineering deliverablesTooling timelinesSupplier readinessValidation schedulesManufacturing preparednessProduction ramp-up activitiesMonitor project schedules and ensure alignment across engineering, sourcing, validation, and manufacturing functions.Risk, Issue & Change ManagementIdentify program risks related to design development, component sourcing, validation, tooling, and manufacturing readiness.Drive mitigation plans, escalation management, and recovery actions for critical program deviations.Support Engineering Change Management (ECN/ECR) activities with impact assessment on cost, quality, performance, and timelines.Dashboarding & Leadership ReportingPublish detailed program dashboards covering:Milestone statusSchedule adherenceBudget trackingOpen issuesEngineering changesRisk exposureProgram health indicatorsPrepare executive-level MIS and leadership reviews highlighting key risks, delays, cost variances, and mitigation plans.Financial & Operational TrackingSupport monitoring and control of:CAPEX related to tooling, engineering, and manufacturing setupOPEX related to development and validation activitiesEnsure governance around budget utilization and program financial visibility.Candidate RequirementsMust-Have6–12 years of experience in PMO, Program Management, or Project Management within the Automotive or EV industries.Strong understanding of automotive product development lifecycle and engineering program governance.Experience managing cross-functional coordination across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality teams.Proven expertise in:Program Tracking & GovernanceNPD Lifecycle ManagementRisk & Dependency ManagementEngineering Change ManagementDashboarding & MIS ReportingProgram Planning & SchedulingStrong proficiency in project management and reporting tools such as MS Project, Excel.
