Big Commerce Specialist

About the CompanyWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BigCommerce Project Lead to spearhead the implementation of a comprehensive BigCommerce platform for a growing stationery business. This role is critical in transitioning our operations into a robust B2C and B2B online marketplace. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in BigCommerce and a proven track record of managing complex integrations with enterprise systems including iVend, SAP, and Zoho CRM.About the RoleAs the Project Lead, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the e-commerce ecosystem, more specifically BigCommerce, ensuring seamless data flow between our storefront, inventory management, financial systems, and customer relations management tools.ResponsibilitiesLead the full-lifecycle implementation of a BigCommerce-based e-commerce platform tailored for both B2C and B2B customer segments.Architect and manage complex integrations between BigCommerce and third-party systems, specifically iVend (POS/Retail), SAP (ERP), and Zoho CRM.Configure and optimize online payment gateways to ensure secure, efficient, and diverse payment options for global customers.Act as the primary point of contact for the project, managing timelines, milestones, and technical requirements from inception to post-launch support.Coordinate with remote internal stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met with high quality.Develop and maintain technical documentation for all integrations and custom workflows.Troubleshoot and resolve technical hurdles related to API connectivity, data mapping, and platform performance.QualificationsExtensive hands-on experience with the BigCommerce platform, including Stencil framework, private app development, and API management.Demonstrated experience integrating BigCommerce with iVend, SAP, and Zoho CRM is mandatory.Proven track record of implementing online payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Adyen, or similar).Previous experience leading e-commerce projects for retail or stationery businesses is highly preferred.Strong understanding of both B2C and B2B e-commerce workflows, including wholesale pricing, bulk ordering, and customer groups.Excellent project management skills with a commitment to seeing a project through from start to finish.Required SkillsExceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.Strong leadership abilities to manage and motivate remote teams across different time zones.Analytical mindset with a focus on data integrity and process optimization.Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.Preferred SkillsPreference will be given to candidates based in Bangalore, India.
