Job Title – Beverage SpecialistDepartment – Food & BeveragesLocation - Bangalore (Work from Office)Role OverviewChai Point is seeking a Beverage Specialist with a strong educational and technical background in food or beverage sciences. This role focuses on beverage standardization, quality consistency, process optimization, and large-scale execution across a QSR environment. This is not a service or bartending role, but a product and process-driven position supporting operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesStandardize and maintain hot and cold beverage recipes in line with brand and quality benchmarksEnsure consistency of taste, strength, and presentation across outletsWork closely with Quality Assurance, Operations, and Supply Chain teamsDefine and update SOPs, brewing parameters, ingredient specifications, and preparation standardsConduct sensory evaluations, trials, and validation for beverages before rolloutEnsure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards (FSSAI and internal norms)Support scale-up and execution of beverages in QSR production and outlet environmentsEvaluate ingredients and vendors from a quality, functionality, and compliance perspectiveIdentify and resolve beverage quality deviations and drive continuous improvementEducational & Skill RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in:Food TechnologyFood ScienceBeverage TechnologyDairy TechnologyHospitality with strong technical beverage exposure4–8 years of experience in QSR, food manufacturing, beverage brands, or institutional F&BKnowledge of Tea & coffee - Leaf Beans & premixes RTDStrong understanding of:Beverage preparation science and extraction principlesIngredient functionality and formulation basicsSensory evaluation and quality controlKnowledge of food safety, hygiene, and compliance standardsDetail-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, scale-driven setupWhy Join Chai Point?Opportunity to work with a leading beverage-focused QSR brandHigh-impact role influencing beverage consistency at scaleStrong cross-functional exposure within operations and quality teams
