Infotainment & Cluster SME – V&V: Connected Services SME (Infotainment + Telematics + Cloud exposure in Automotive)Job Title: Infotainment & Cluster SME – Verification & ValidationExperience: 12-15 years in Automotive Infotainment, Instrument Cluster, and V&VRole Overview:As an Infotainment & Cluster Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Verification & Validation, you will lead the testing and validation of advanced infotainment systems and digital instrument clusters for modern vehicles. You will define V&V strategies, ensure compliance with automotive standards, and deliver a seamless user experience across cockpit domains.Key Responsibilities:Domain Expertise:Act as the technical authority for infotainment and cluster V&V activities.Provide guidance on standards like ISO 26262, AUTOSAR, and cybersecurity requirements.Test Strategy & Planning:Define V&V strategies for infotainment (Android Automotive, QNX, Linux) and cluster systems.Develop test plans for bench, simulation, and vehicle-level testing.Execution & Analysis:Validate infotainment features (media, navigation, voice assistants, connectivity) and cluster functionalities (speedometer, tell-tales, driver information).Perform functional, performance, and UX validation.Analyze test results, identify issues, and recommend corrective actions.Tools & Frameworks:Work with tools like CANoe, dSPACE, Vector, and infotainment/cluster automation frameworks.Support test automation and reporting.Compliance & Documentation:Ensure adherence to automotive standards and cybersecurity guidelines.Prepare detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.Collaboration:Work closely with system engineers, software developers, and UX teams.Participate in design reviews and provide V&V feedback.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or related field.Strong knowledge of infotainment systems, instrument clusters, and connectivity technologies.Hands-on experience in Verification & Validation for automotive infotainment and cluster systems.Familiarity with Android Automotive OS, QNX, Linux, and AUTOSAR.Proficiency in CANoe, dSPACE, and infotainment/cluster test automation.Excellent analytical and communication skills.Preferred Skills:Experience with voice assistants, navigation systems, and connected services.Knowledge of cybersecurity, functional safety, and UX validation.Exposure to digital cockpit integration and multi-display environments.
