Not even close.Role: Analytics EngineerLocation: RemoteRole Overview:We are hiring an Analytics Engineer to build the clean, trusted data layer that powers all analytics and reporting at Joveo. You will sit between data engineering and business intelligence — modeling raw data into well-structured, well-documented datasets that everyone in the business can rely on.Key Responsibilities:- Build and maintain dbt models that transform raw data into clean analytical layers- Define and enforce data modeling standards and documentation practices- Partner with data analysts and BI developers to understand reporting requirements- Monitor data quality, write data tests, and maintain pipeline reliability- Collaborate with data engineers on schema design and warehouse architecture- Create and maintain a shared metrics layer accessible to self-service analytics usersRequired Skills & Qualifications:- Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling (dimensional or OBT approaches)- Hands-on experience with dbt Core or dbt Cloud in production environments- Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift)- Familiarity with data testing frameworks and data quality monitoring tools- Understanding of analytics engineering best practices and the modern data stack- Ability to work cross-functionally with both technical and business stakeholdersEqual Opportunity Employer:Joveo is an equal opportunity employer.
