Business Development & Key Account ManagerPharma / Nutraceutical CRDMOLeumas · BengaluruWe’re hiring a Business Development & Key Account Manager to help scale the commercial engine of a next-generation CRDMO serving nutraceutical and pharmaceutical brands.This is a high-ownership role responsible for building relationships with emerging and established consumer health brands, converting opportunities into development programs and manufacturing contracts, and growing them into long-term partnerships.We’re looking for someone who understands how regulated manufacturing partnerships work and can bridge the gap between customer requirements and internal execution.Company Overview — LeumasLeumas is a venture-funded, Bangalore-based startup building a next-generation CRDMO platform for nutraceuticals, supplements, consumer health, and selected pharmaceutical products.We combine modular production, software-defined manufacturing, and integrated quality systems to deliver faster launches, reliable execution, and flexible scale.Our capabilities include multiple dosage formats such as oral solids (capsules and tablets), powders, oral liquids, and semi-solid formulations with full traceability and integrated QA.Industry ContextThe nutraceutical and consumer health industry is evolving rapidly.Brands are launching more SKUs, iterating formulations frequently, and demanding faster development cycles.Traditional manufacturers are optimized for large batch production and long planning cycles, making them slow to adapt to this new operating model.At the same time, brands increasingly prioritize manufacturing partners who can deliver consistent quality, regulatory discipline, and transparent execution.The result is a shift toward modern CRDMO partners who combine manufacturing capability with strong technical collaboration and reliable execution.Leumas is built for this shift — a platform-led manufacturing partner enabling brands to develop, launch, and scale products faster.The RoleYou will help build and operate Leumas’ commercial engine across business development and key account management.This role sits at the intersection of market demand and manufacturing execution.You will identify and engage potential brand partners, convert opportunities into development programs, and manage ongoing customer relationships to drive repeat business and program expansion.Beyond sales, this role requires understanding manufacturing capabilities, regulatory considerations, and product development cycles to ensure realistic commitments and successful execution.What You'll OwnBusiness Development & Pipeline Creation→ Identify and engage nutraceutical, consumer health, and pharmaceutical brands seeking manufacturing partners.→ Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.→ Run discovery conversations to understand product requirements, timelines, and technical feasibility.→ Convert qualified leads into NPD projects and commercial manufacturing programs.Key Account Management→ Manage relationships with existing customers and ensure consistent communication and alignment.→ Coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are clearly translated into execution plans.→ Identify opportunities to expand programs across additional SKUs or product formats.→ Build long-term partnerships that result in repeat contracts and predictable revenue.Cross-Functional Deal Execution→ Coordinate with NPD, Manufacturing, QA, and Supply Chain teams to ensure feasibility before commitments are made.→ Translate customer requirements into internal briefs including product specifications, timelines, packaging requirements, and regulatory considerations.→ Support customers during audits, product development cycles, and scale-up phases.→ Ensure smooth transition from pilot batches to commercial production.Commercial Coordination→ Support proposal preparation, pricing discussions, and contract negotiation.→ Track deal progress from lead generation to program launch.→ Maintain disciplined CRM updates and pipeline visibility.→ Ensure customer expectations are aligned with operational capabilities.You're a Fit IfYou bring 4–10 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management in nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, consumer health, or related manufacturing environments.You understand how contract manufacturing partnerships work and are comfortable working with technical teams to translate customer requirements into executable programs.You are comfortable engaging with founders, procurement teams, R&D/NPD teams, and quality teams at client organizations.You communicate clearly, manage expectations well, and build long-term business relationships.Bonus (preferred):You have prior experience selling CDMO/CRDMO services or working closely with manufacturing and product development teams.How You Will OperateYou operate with
