Job Title: QAD Enterprise Financials Consultant (Customization Specialist) - Remote / FreelancingJob Type: RemoteExperience: 8+ YearsJob Summary We are seeking an experienced QAD Enterprise Financials Consultant with strong customization and technical skills to support, enhance, and optimize QAD ERP financial modules. The ideal candidate will combine deep functional knowledge of QAD Financials with hands-on experience in system customization, integrations, and user specific enhancements to meet evolving business needs. Key ResponsibilitiesLead implementation, configuration, and support of QAD Enterprise Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, Costing, Tax, etc.) on QAD AERP 2024Analyze business requirements and translate them into eƯective QAD financial solutionsDesign, develop, and maintain customizations using QAD tools (e.g.,QXtend, EE, QAD EF Non-Intrusive Customization Framework, Progress/Open Edge, Excel Integration, Financial APIs)Develop and support custom reports, forms, and inquiriesIntegrate QAD Financials with third-party systems and internal applicationsTroubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues in financial processesSupport month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activitiesPerform system testing, UAT support, and documentationTrain end users and provide post-go-live supportCollaborate with finance, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure system alignmentRequired Skills & QualificationsStrong hands-on experience with QAD Enterprise FinancialsSolid understanding of accounting principles and financial processesProven experience in QAD customization and technical developmentExperience with Progress/OpenEdge, QXtend, EE, APIs, or similar toolsAbility to write and optimize custom reports and queriesExperience in ERP integrations and data migrationStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and in cross-functional teamsPreferred QualificationsQAD Certification (Financials and/or Technical)Experience with QAD Adaptive ERP and cloud environmentsManufacturing industry experienceExposure to SQL, BI/reporting tools, or workflow automationEducationBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
