Staff Quality Assurance Engineer

We’re looking to add a “Staff QA Engineer” to our RUCKUS team based in Bengaluru.How You'll Help Us Connect the World:RUCKUS ICX team is now re-defining switching architecture and design with a move towards state sharing architecture and platform independent software that can run efficiently on multicore CPUs and on multiple networking ASICs.The Staff Quality Assurance Engineer/Tester will work on developing and implementing test plans and automated tests for new features, new hardware, and functionality of the RUCKUS ICX products.Required Skills/ Qualifications for Consideration: Working experience in highly technical roles in test engineering or enterprise services, at large organizations or innovative startupsCandidate must have hands-on exp. in developing Gen AI tools for test automation/test planning and test script reviewsCandidate must have hands-on exp in one or more of the technology areas of Enterprise product- Layer-2, Layer-3(BGP, OSPF), VxLAN BGP-EVPN, Multicast (PIMv4/v6), IGMPSnooping Security (TLS/SSL, 802.1x, IP ACL's, IPSEC, SSH/Tacacs, Macsec etc..), Multicast (PIMv4, PIMv6, IGMP Snooping/MLD)Hands on experience in automation with Python scripting languages and Robot frameworkHands on experience in using Spirent Test Center traffic generators- Experience with Test plan preparation.Exposure to issue reproduction, root cause analysis and testing. Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.It is important for the candidate to be able to understand feature requirements and translate to test cases and test automationExperience with Customer engagements (both proactive and reactive)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsBE/ME in Computer Science, Other Engineering/ Technical Degree You Will Excite Us If You Have: Working experience with 5 to 8 years in highly technical roles in test engineering or enterprise services, at large organizations, or innovative startupsHands on experience in Automation with Python scripting languages and Robot frameworkHands on experience in using Spirent Test Center traffic generatorsExperience with Test plan preparation.Experience in using Gen AI tools (Cursor AI, Microsoft Co-pilot) for test planning and AutomationExposure to issue reproduction, root cause analysis and testing.
