Fund Operation Associate

Job PurposeThe Fund Operations Executive will support the day-to-day operations of investment funds, including fund accounting, NAV preparation, financial reporting, and coordination with service providers. This role is suitable for a qualified Chartered Accountant or candidates with 4-7 years of relevant experience, offering strong learning and growth opportunities in the fund management industry.Key ResponsibilitiesFund Accounting & NAV SupportAssist in preparation and review of daily/monthly/quarterly NAV calculationsRecord and verify:Investment transactionsCorporate actionsIncome accrualsFund expensesSupport valuation processes under guidance, including listed and basic derivative instrumentsFinancial ReportingAssist in preparation of:Fund financial statementsInvestor reports and schedulesSupport audit processes by preparing working papers and responding to audit queriesOperations & ReconciliationsPerform cash, bank, and position reconciliationsSupport trade lifecycle activities from execution to settlementAssist in monitoring fund expenses and accrualsRegulatory & Compliance SupportAssist in regulatory filings and compliance requirements (e.g. MAS, ACRA, FATCA, CRS)Maintain accurate documentation and records for regulatory and internal purposesStakeholder CoordinationLiaise with fund administrators, custodians, auditors, and internal teams for data and confirmationsSupport fund launches and operational setup under supervisionQualifications & ExperienceMandatoryQualified Chartered Accountant (CA)Experience4-7 years of experience in:Fund accountingAudit (financial services preferred)Asset management / financial services operationsTechnical SkillsStrong foundation in accounting principles and IFRSProficiency in Microsoft ExcelBasic understanding of investment instruments is an advantageWillingness to learn fund accounting systems and regulatory frameworksSoft SkillsStrong attention to detailGood analytical and problem-solving skillsClear communication skillsAbility to work well in a team and meet deadlinesWhat We OfferStructured training and mentorshipHands-on exposure to fund operations and reportingCareer progression within fund management operations
