This role will serve as the finance partner to business leaders, offering criticalsupport in planning, profitability tracking, forecasting, and driving data-backed strategicinitiatives.Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Business PartneringPartner closely with Vertical Heads and Business Leadership to understand priorities, identify financial levers, and drive decision-making.Act as the financial conscience of the business, helping teams align with strategic and profitability goals.Create dynamic models to evaluate new initiatives, pricing changes, or cost optimization scenarios.2. Performance Reporting & AnalysisLead the preparation of monthly and quarterly business reviews with a clear narrative around performance drivers. Analyze revenue, cost, and margin performance across business lines, geographies, or products.Recommend cost-control or revenue-enhancing measures based on findings.Identify gaps, opportunities, and key actions to improve unit-level or vertical profitability.3. Automation & Process ImprovementBuild scalable and automated dashboards/tools for reporting and forecasting. Work closely with the Controllership/data/tech teams to improve the availability and reliability of financial data.4. Contribution to Planning and ForecastingSupport annual operating plans, 3-year strategic planning, and rolling forecasts.Identify macroeconomic, competitive, and internal factors impacting financial outlook.Qualifications & AttributesEducation: CA or MBA (Finance) from a recognized institution.Experience: 5 years of experience in business finance, preferably in a fast-paced or high- growth environment.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in executive-level presentations.Business Acumen: Comfort working in cross-functional teams and engaging with senior leadership and department heads.Tech Skills: Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and experience with tools like Power BI/Tableau is preferred.
