Job Title:
Executive Assistant
Company: Identity Labs

Job Type: Full Time
Job Description:
About Identity LabsOur Mission:Identity Labs is a content consulting firm that aims to become the McKinsey of personal branding and create 1000 coveted creative jobs in India. What Infosys did for Indian software talent, Identity Labs will do for Indian intellectual talent. (Bring 2000 high-paid writing jobs from across the world to India, and raise the salary for the entire industry)What we do:We help Ultra High-Net-Worth Individuals become respected public figures in their industry, which significantly impacts their business through better deal flow, fundraising potential, high-net-worth connections, and access. Our client base spans the United States, Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. We’ve worked with Silicon Valley Billionaires and Venture Capital Firms. Here's a list of clients we have worked with in the past:Bryan Johnson (Former CEO Venmo, now Blueprint)Jonathan Swanson (built Thumbtack to $3B in revenue)Partners at Andreessen Horowitz (a16z)Justin Mares (built Kettle and Fire to $100M revenue)Kennan Davison (Built Skio to $20M revenue, currently building Icon, backed by Founders Fund)Shrav Mehta (CEO, SecureFrame, valued at $300M)AJ Orbach (CEO, TripleWhale, valued at $600M)Brad Menezes (CEO, Superblocks, valued at $200M)We’ve generated ~ 500 million views across our client base. As far as we know, our track record is singular. We are deliberately small (500% YoY) and are a global leader in this $300M market. We're the largest content/media firm in India by profit, yet the smallest in size compared to our peers, generating profits comparable to those of a 500-person company with just 10 meticulously selected individuals currently. How we do it:If you have enough data, understanding, and taste, virality is not luck. It’s engineering. We reverse-engineer how social algorithms, such as that of X, work.We then identify patterns in reach and engagement, and model our content strategy around those patterns to capture tremendous organic reach in a way that’s never been done before. Think content science meets art. We dominate Twitter with this approach. We control 500M impressions/year. (Twitter has 368M active users). Elon Musk, Paul Graham, and every entrepreneur you look up to have probably commented, liked, or retweeted our content. Our Virality Framework →Reach = f(retention %, retweet rate, click-through rate)We’re the first content company with the approach of a science lab. With our proven frameworks for producing viral content, we aim to redefine content production as a discipline. We launched in 2022 and are on track to grow our team to over 30 people this year. The Role:You know those people who somehow make everything run? The ones who fix the Wi-Fi, schedule reservations, manage client pickups, and somehow keep five projects from falling apart simultaneously? That's this role – where /"that's not my job/" doesn't exist. The Chief of Concierge role at Identity Labs is where you work directly with the founder across every function of his personal productivity. One day you're negotiating vendor contracts, the next you're commissioning custom artwork, and by Friday you're organising a Founders Circle Dinner. It's fast, it's messy, and it's the steepest learning curve you'll ever love. You are essentially the Founder's /"Alfred/". The Chief of Staff for all things personal.Based out of our co-working space in Bangalore (or remote, if you're the kind of person who ships from anywhere). Whether you’re at home, in a cafe, or huddled with the team, what matters is what you get done.Definition of done = zero information loss from start to finishYou ruthlessly track progress, follow up like time is money (it is), don’t take vague responses for an answer, and provide updates even before they’re asked for - that’s done. This role is the backbone of both the Founder and the Organisation. You’re going to be responsible for bringing about that synergy between the two and keeping things running. Your capacity to put out fires (there will always be more) will directly affect the growth of the company, both internally and externally. If that scares you, good! You will either want to know more or be completely driven away. If you’re the former kind, read on…Your North StarEvery task in this role is guided by one question - /"How much leverage are we creating?/"Civilization evolves by the number of operations it can do without using cognitive capacity. For example, Google Maps is a civilization-pushing form of leverage where nobody ever has to think about this again, and it frees up attention for everyone in perpetuity.Similarly, the core team and the founder move ahead if the number of operations that are done without using the founder's cognitive load increases. You are there to make this happen. Through better context, process, documentation, and more people, we need to create $10M worth of leverage. The Type of Person Who Excels In This Role;Fancy degrees? Cool, but not the point. Here's what actually matters:1. Versatility: HR on Monday, marketing on Tuesday, project deliverables on Thursday. You don't just wear multiple hats, you create them.2. High Agency: You see a problem, you fix it. You don't wait for someone to notice it, assign it, then remind you about it. Twice.3. Negotiation: You'll influence people who don't report to you. Vendors, stakeholders, functional leads — you get alignment without authority.4. Business Brain: You understand margins, market dynamics, and why unit economics matter. Buzzwords don't impress you; numbers do.5. Ops Excellence: Process optimization isn't a chore, it's your love language. You build systems that don't need babysitting.6. EQ & Empathy You read rooms, not just reports. You know that getting stuff done starts with making people feel heard. The NON-NEGOTIABLESTrust is everything. We'll say it louder for the people in the back: Trust. Is. Everything. Here's what kills trust instantly:• Obfuscated truth — Burying the bad news in jargon. Just say it.• Window dressing — Making things look better than they are. We'd rather know the ugly truth early.• Lying — Obviously.• Excuses — Things go wrong. Own it, fix it, move on.The MINDSET WE'RE BUILDINGWorking at Identity Labs will give you unparalleled exposure and experience. We don't just want someone to fill a seat. We want someone who's building themselves into a full-stack operator. Here's the blueprint:1. IDENTITY: Think of yourself as a founder, not an employee. Your decisions should reflect ownership, not task completion.2. PRINCIPAL MINDSET: Act like you have skin in the game. Because you do. Every decision you make shapes this company.3. AGENCY: Don't ask /"what should I do?/" Ask, /"Here's what I'm doing, any objections?/" Default to action.4. HIGH-FUNCTIONING HUSTLE: We work hard because we care, not because someone's watching. Intensity with intentionality. This role is designed to turn you into someone who can run anything. The scope for growth is directly proportional to your capacity to deliver – you can 2x your salary in 6 months based on the leverage you create. If that excites you, apply right now, and we'll get in touch with you.Letter From Our Founder & CEOIn your 30-year professional career, you will do many jobs. Maybe for money, growth, or experience. While you will get money, growth, and experience, the reason to take up this role is that you can’t do it.You get to ideate directly with the founder and optimise everything from the ground up through first-principle thinking. This role is essentially an entire MBA's worth of education, except you're learning by actually doing, with an opportunity to compress 10 years of development in 2 years. Everything from our culture, systems, operations, and management is up for refinement, and we want someone who cares deeply about attention to detail. If the business is a Japanese garden, you will be the gardener - carefully tending to each leaf & stem, cutting away excess, along with the core team and me.Our goal with the description is to turn away 99% of the people who read it. But if you are among the 1%, you will feel like someone wrote this description for you. That you were born to do this. That everything in your life has been preparing you to take this role. We’re not looking for a person, we’re looking for the person.– Ruchir
