The organization operates with an integrated model across design, production, and execution, enabling faster delivery and better customer experience.Location: Koramangala, BengaluruDesignation: Senior Finance Executive / Assistant Finance ManagerReports to: Managing DirectorRoles & Responsibilities:Financial Operations & Cash Flow Management:Monitor daily revenue, cash flow, and bank balances; manage fund allocation based on business prioritiesReview and finalise vendor payments while ensuring optimal utilization of working capitalDrive receivables follow-ups and improve cash inflow cyclesManage banking operations and coordinate with financial institutions for ongoing requirement Accounting, Compliance & Book Closure:Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping and ensure accuracy of financial records Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirementsSupport monthly and annual closure of books of accountsCoordinate with auditors for statutory audits, tax audits, and compliance mattersMIS & Reporting:Drive preparation of weekly and monthly MIS reports covering revenue, expenses, cash flow, and profitabilityDevelop project-wise profitability and cost analysis reportsPrepare and present financial insights for management decision-makingMaintain accuracy and consistency of data across reports and systemsInventory & Cost Control:Oversee inventory tracking, audits, and valuation processes Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and recommend corrective actions Strengthen controls around production costing and material usageCross-functional Coordination:Work closely with Procurement, Production, Execution, Stores, and Dispatch teams to resolve operational and financial issuesCoordinate with vendors and B2B partners on payments, supplies, and reconciliationsSupport HR & Admin in improving reporting discipline and process adherenceProcess Improvement & Automation: Identify gaps in financial and operational processes and implement improvements Drive automation initiatives in reporting, reconciliations, and workflowsStreamline vendor payment cycles (PO, GRN, credit terms optimization)Strategic & Ad-hoc Responsibilities: Support budgeting, financial planning, and feasibility analysis for new initiativesTake ownership of additional responsibilities beyond finance to support business operationsPresent financial performance insights in management reviews and annual discussionsKey Requirements:Strong hands-on experience in accounting, compliance, MIS reporting, and financial operationsPractical exposure to GST, TDS, audits, and financial statement preparationExperience in cash flow management, vendor payments, and receivables trackingAbility to work closely with multiple teams in a fast-paced operational setup Prior experience in managing and reviewing work of a small finance/accounts teamStrong problem-solving mindset with a focus on execution and ownershipGood understanding of inventory, costing, and operational financeProficiency in Excel and accounting tools/ERPs (experience in Odoo, Zoho Books, or similar systems preferred)Ability to manage and guide a small finance teamEducation: Semi-qualified CA / or equivalentExperience: 5–7 years (semi-qualified CA) / 8+ years (Commerce Graduate)Working days: Monday to SaturdayContact Details: For more details on this vacancy, contact Ayush at . _ _ _ _ _ _ HireGenie is a premier Finance Recruitment Consultancy, helping companies and startups find top-tier finance professionals.
