At Xiaomi India, we foster a fast-paced, ownership-driven environment that encourages learning and growth.Role OverviewWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Direct Tax Intern to support the Direct Tax team in ensuring compliance, documentation, and tax reporting activities. This internship offers hands-on exposure to corporate taxation in a dynamic and high-growth organization.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in preparation and filing of Corporate Income Tax and related schedules.Support in computation of advance tax, TDS, and deferred tax workings.Assist in preparation of tax audit documentation and schedules.Maintain tax compliance trackers and ensure timely updates.Support in handling notices, queries, and correspondence from tax authorities.Coordinate with internal teams for data collection and reconciliation.Assist in transfer pricing documentation and related workings (if applicable).Support in preparation of tax reports for management review.Eligibility CriteriaStrong understanding of Direct Tax concepts and basic accounting principles.Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred).Good analytical and documentation skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
