This includes analyzing customer contracts, managing deferred revenue, and ensuring all financial records align with Indian GAAP/IFRS standards.What will you do ? Review customer contracts and sales orders to ensure revenue is recognized in compliance with applicable accounting standardsPrepare and post journal entries related to revenue, deferred revenue, and commission expenses; perform reconciliations of all revenue-related balance sheet accountsMonitor invoicing, collections, and revenue recognition processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timelinessServe as the primary point of contact for external auditors on revenue samples and technical accounting matters. Ensure SOX compliance and maintain robust internal control documentationPerform monthly (MoM) variance analysis and deliver actionable insights on revenue trends, churn, and upsell performanceCollaborate closely with MIS, Tax, Treasury, and Operations teams to support seamless financial operationsCoordinate with internal and external auditors to provide revenue-related data and documentation as requiredDrive process improvements, automation initiatives, and efficiency enhancements within revenue functionsReconcile revenue-related accounts and analyze trends and variances to ensure financial accuracy, transparency and controlWhat are we looking forIn-depth understanding of accounting standards, including Ind AS and IFRSAdvanced expertise in MS Excel with strong analytical capabilitiesKeen attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrityExcellent communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills
