Senior Finance Executive

Job Profile: Sr. Finance ExecutiveLocation: Bengaluru- On-siteExperience: 4–7 yearsIndustry Preference: D2C / Fashion / Lifestyle / E-commerceEmployment Type: Full-timeRole OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented and business-focused Senior Finance Executive to manage day-to-day finance operations, reporting, compliance, and support strategic decision-making for a growing D2C brand. The role requires hands-on experience with e-commerce finance, marketplace reconciliations, GST, and cash flow management.Key Responsibilities:Financial OperationsManage daily accounting operations, including entries, invoices, payments, and reconciliations.Oversee accounts payable & receivable, vendor payments, and customer refunds.Maintain accurate books in Tally / ERP / accounting software.E-commerce & Marketplace FinanceHandle marketplace reconciliations (Myntra, Amazon, Flipkart, etc.).Track sales, returns, commissions, logistics charges, and deductions.Coordinate with marketplaces for dispute resolution and settlement issues.Reporting & AnalysisPrepare monthly MIS reports, P&L, cash flow statements, and variance analysis.Track key D2C metrics like gross margin, contribution margin, CAC impact, discounting impact, etc.Support management with financial insights and cost optimisation.Taxation & ComplianceManage GST filings, returns, reconciliations, and compliance.Coordinate with CA for TDS, audits, and statutory filings.Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.Budgeting & Cash FlowAssist in budget planning and forecasting.Monitor cash flow, working capital, and payment cycles.Support planning for campaigns, sales events, and inventory cycles.Cross-functional CoordinationWork closely with operations, supply chain, marketing, and leadership teams.Support decision-making for pricing, promotions, and inventory planning.Key Skills:Strong understanding of D2C / e-commerce business models.Experience with marketplace accounting & reconciliation.Proficiency in Tally, Excel/Google Sheets, and MIS reporting.Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.Analytical mindset with attention to detail.Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment.Qualifications: / / CA (Inter) / MBA Finance4–7 years of relevant experiencePrior experience with D2C brands, fashion, retail, or e-commerce is highly preferredWhat We’re Looking For:Hands-on, execution-driven professionalProcess-oriented with a strong sense of ownershipComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
