About the CompanyWe are looking for a CA-qualified Tax Advisor with hands-on experience in Direct and Indirect Taxes who can independently manage client tax compliance and advisory assignments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys client interaction, tax planning, and working in a fast-paced startup environment where ownership and leadership are valued.About the RoleThis role involves managing client tax compliance and advisory assignments, focusing on client interaction and tax planning.Responsibilities:Compliance & Filings Prepare and file monthly and quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)Prepare and file TDS returns and handle related reconciliationsEnsure timely and accurate statutory compliance for assigned clients.Tax Planning & Advisory Proactively plan taxes for clients at the beginning of the financial yearAdvise clients on legitimate tax-saving mechanisms under the Income Tax ActFile income tax returns based on: Tax strategies suggested during the year, andActual financial actions taken by clientsAssist clients in salary structuring and optimisation techniques (HRA, LTA, reimbursements, perquisites, etc.)Client Interaction & Relationship Management Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clientsExplain tax concepts in a simple, understandable mannerHandle client queries, follow-ups, and documentation professionallyBuild long-term client relationships based on trust and clarityLeadership & Ownership Take ownership of assigned engagements end-to-endGuide juniors or support staff when requiredContribute to process improvements and internal best practicesQualificationsChartered Accountant (CA) – Qualified1–2 years of post-qualification experience in taxation Required SkillsStrong working knowledge of: Direct TaxesGSTTDSHands-on experience with: WinmanSpreadsheets (Excel / Google Sheets)Excellent communication and client-handling skillsProven ability to take responsibility and show leadership traitsStartup mindset: proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriente Equal Opportunity StatementWe are committed to diversity and inclusivity in our hiring practices.
