PositionIn-charge Operations - MiningTotal Years of Experience:1. Minimum 12- 15 years of experience in Mining Operations. (Iron Ore Mining experience Preferable)Skills & Knowledge :Essential: A Degree in mining engineering having 1st Class certificate of CompetencyDesirable: Conversant with various Acts, Rules & Regulations applicable to Mines.Accountabilities & Responsibilities- Development of detailed safe work procedure & ensure its implementation. - Coordinates open pit activities like work scheduling, planning, drilling, blasting, excavation and transportation etc. - Control pit operations to detect violation of safety regulations as per DGMS and other applicable norms and compile safety and production records. - Responsible to ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment of Man and machineries. - Control pit operations to detect violation of safety regulations and compile safety and production records. - Carry out prescribed tasks/projects in accordance with contract requirements. - Carry out allocated shift tasks/projects within set time limits. - Ensure compliance with quality standards, policies and procedures, codes of practice and legislation related to mine safety and environment as well. - Responsible for effective use of resources and control expenses to meet budgetary controls. - Ensure compliance of the conditions mentioned in Reg- 106(2b) of MMR-1961 - Oversee shift process and providing appropriate instruction to designated team. - Co-ordinate with team/contractors/suppliers and other stakeholders for augmentation of productivity & optimizing the shift working hour. - Maintain accurate data/records/documentation. - Immediately report problems/constraints to the Line Manager that may impact Operation and business of the Organisation. - Stakeholder Management - Cost effective operation management adhering Safety normsFunctional Skills :1. Field Execution of Mine Plan 2. Mining Cost forecasting 3. Adept in Statutory Compliances, DGMS norms and safety 4.
