About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented US Taxation Manager to lead and manage US tax operations from India. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in US taxation, client management, compliance, and team handling. This role requires hands-on experience in preparing and reviewing US tax returns while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end US taxation processes for individuals and businessesPrepare and review Federal and State tax returnsEnsure compliance with IRS regulations and US tax lawsHandle tax planning, tax research, and advisory supportCoordinate with US clients for document collection and tax-related queriesReview financial statements and supporting documentationManage deadlines and ensure timely filing of returnsLead and mentor junior tax associates and team membersMaintain high-quality standards and process efficiencyStay updated with changes in US tax regulations and compliance requirementsRequired Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field3+ years of experience in US TaxationStrong knowledge of:Individual Tax Returns (1040)Business Tax Returns (1120, 1120S, 1065)Tax compliance and IRS regulationsExperience with tax software such as Drake, UltraTax, ProSeries, Lacerte, or similarStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and client-handling abilitiesTeam management experience preferredAbility to work independently and meet tight deadlinesPreferred QualificationsCPA / EA / CA qualification is an added advantageExperience working with US-based CPA firmsFamiliarity with QuickBooks and accounting conceptsComfortable working in US shift timings
