Job Description: Senior Legal Counsel – SaaS / Technology Contracts> Location: Gurgaon, India (Onsite)> Shift: US Working Hours (5:30 PM – 2:30 AM IST)US Litigation Exp. Must > The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing technology and SaaS contracts for global IT/software companies. This role requires excellent commercial judgment, outstanding communication skills, and a practical problem-solving mindset aligned with fast-paced business environments. Key Responsibilities> • Draft, review, negotiate, redline, and finalize a wide range of technology and commercial agreements, including: o SaaS Agreements o Master Service Agreements (MSAs) o Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) o Statements of Work (SOWs) o Technology Licensing & IP Agreements (must-have) o Vendor and Procurement Contracts> • Mitigate legal and contractual risk while ensuring business agility and deal velocity.> • Support India and US compliance functions — including data privacy, governance, and internal controls. • Provide clear, actionable legal advice to leadership, product, sales, and operations teams.> • Maintain organized version control, contract repositories, and documentation standards.> • Collaborate closely with US legal and business teams during overlapping working hours.>> Qualifications and Experience> • 8+ years of experience in corporate legal roles, preferably with IT or SaaS product companies.> • Proven hands-on expertise in contract drafting, negotiation, redlining, and risk interpretation.> • Strong command over technology contracting and intellectual property terms.> • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a consultative approach.> • Familiarity with India and US compliance frameworks (data protection, export control, privacy laws).> • Ability to work onsite in Gurgaon during US business hours (mandatory).
