Candidates must be able to join within 1 week of selection.Work Hours: 6:30 PM – 3:30 AM IST (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST) Days: Monday to Friday (Saturday & Sunday Off) Location: Remote - Work from HomeAbout the RoleWe are hiring an IT Support Assistant to assist our US-based IT team remotely. The ideal candidate will provide day-to-day technical support to end users, helping them resolve hardware, software, network, and application issues. This is a support role working directly under a Senior IT Technician, assisting with tasks primarily involving Windows 11, Microsoft Office 365, Zoom, and Google Workspace.Key ResponsibiltiesEnd-User SupportProvide remote support for desktops and laptops including setup, configuration, and basic troubleshootingAssist end users with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Support users with Zoom issues - connectivity, audio/video, phone calls, and integrationsProvide technical assistance for Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets)Handle user account tasks such as password resets and access requestsHardware & Software SupportAssist in diagnosing basic hardware issues - laptops, monitors, printers, peripheralsHelp install and configure approved software applicationsSupport IT asset tracking and documentationNetworking SupportHelp troubleshoot basic network issues - Wi-Fi, VPN access, IP conflictsAssist with network printer setup and shared drive configurationOperational & DocumentationDocument resolutions, procedures, and common troubleshooting stepsEscalate complex issues to the senior technician or specialized teamsSupport deployment projects such as PC refresh, software rollouts, and patchingRequired Skills & Qualifications1–3 years of experience in desktop support or technical supportMust have prior experience working with a US or international client - candidates without US/international client exposure will not be consideredStrong knowledge of Windows 11 administration and troubleshootingProficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 environmentsFamiliarity with Zoom and Google Workspace supportBasic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi)Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)Strong customer service and problem-solving mindsetAbility to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environmentMandatory RequirementsImmediate joiner – must be available to join within 1 weekOwn laptop in good working conditionStable personal Wi-Fi/broadband connectionSalary slips from previous employer(s) will be required during the hiring processMust have worked with a US-based or international client previouslyOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
