Pega Developer (3-6 Months Contract)

Pega DeveloperJob DescriptionWe are looking for a Pega Developer responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Pega-based applications and workflows. The role involves working closely with business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable, maintainable Pega solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and configure Pega applications using best practices and guardrails.Build and enhance case types, flows, data models, UI screens, activities, integrations, and reports.Implement business rules, decision tables, and declarative rules in Pega.Develop and consume APIs / integrations (REST/SOAP/JMS or similar) between Pega and external systems.Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, and technical walkthroughs with stakeholders.Optimize application performance, guardrail compliance, and reusability of components.Troubleshoot, debug, and fix issues across development, testing, and production environments.Support unit testing, SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities.Create and maintain technical documentation (design documents, mapping, deployment guides).Collaborate with architects, business analysts, testers, and other developers to ensure end-to-end quality.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).Hands-on experience as a Pega Developer (typically 3–8 years, depending on level).Strong experience with Pega Platform (Pega 7.x / 8.x or higher).Good knowledge of:Case Management, Flows, Flow Actions, ActivitiesData Pages, Data Types, IntegrationsUI rules (Sections, Harnesses, Layouts)Decision Rules (Decision Tables, Decision Trees, When rules)Experience with integration protocols such as REST/SOAP, XML/JSON, and message queues.Familiarity with application performance tuning and Pega guardrails.Understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum delivery, and DevOps practices.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Preferred / Nice-to-HavePega CSA (Certified System Architect) or CSSA (Certified Senior System Architect) certification.Experience in BFSI / Telecom / Healthcare or other large enterprise domains.Exposure to CI/CD, version control (Git), and deployment tools.Experience working in multi-vendor, distributed or onsite–offshore environments.PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd • RCB No. 200007268EEA License No. 01C4394 • EA Registration No. R1113321 (Jacob Tijo)
