Electrical Engineer

We are a premium Australian BPO seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for our client, a global renewable energy company specialising in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).WFH, working Australian business hours 10am AEDT Monday to Friday. Salary Range R-150k- 250k per month + paid leave + bonus + benefits This company leads the market in large-scale, industrial and commercial BESS with expanding capabilities across solar power and EV charging infrastructure.We are seeking the country's BEST, please DO NOT apply unless (you will go through testing) : Minimum 2 years working with an Australian Client and a strong understanding of AUS standards & DNSP requirements.Minimum 4 years with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)Minimum 2 years designing protection and metering schemesMinimum 2 years performing relay configuration and protection setting calculations?STRONG English language skills - written and verbalYou will be interviewed and tested on Design LV and HV panels, including:·      Transformer sizing and specifications·      Grid synchronisation systems·      Lightning protection and earthing systems·      AC/DC switchgear·      UPS Sizing·      Components selectionPerform detailed electrical design, including:·      Load lists·      Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)·      Schematics·      Layouts, General Arrangements (GAs)·      Bills of Materials (BOMs)Develop protection and metering schemesPerform relay configuration and protection setting calculationsStandards & Compliance• Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and DNSP requirementsLikeAS/NZS 4777.1 :2024AS/NZS 3000AS/NZS 5139AS 2067AS/NZS 1768Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering.5+ years’ experience in:Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and DNSP requirementsDeveloped protection and metering schemesPerformed relay configuration and protection setting calculationsBattery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), orUtility-scale Solar PV systemsExperience with industrial electrical systems, including:Low Voltage (LV) power systemsControl systemsAuxiliary electrical systemsExposure to one or more of the following:BESS and PCS systemsUPS systemsSwitchboardsIndustrial or power equipmentStrong proficiency in AutoCADAdvanced Excel skillsStrong proficiency in English both written and verbal communication skillsIn return, you will work for one of the world's most exciting battery and power companies with great global opportunities.
