Title - Control–M Technical AdministratorLocation - Remote ( Hyderabad / Bangalore )Shift – 9 AM to 5 PM Role SummaryThe Worker will support the administration, development, and monitoring of the Control-M scheduling environment. The role focuses on job development, basic administration, production support, and troubleshooting under the guidance of senior Control-M administrators. The Worker will assist in maintaining Control-M and Control-M Enterprise Manager to support automated batch processing and ensure reliable job execution across environments.MUST HAVE3–4 years of hands-on experience with Control-M, primarily in job/batch developmentExperience creating and modifying Control-M jobs, folders, and workflows3+ years of experience with Unix/Linux operating systemsWorking knowledge of Control-M Enterprise Manager (EM) and Control-M ServerExperience handling job failures, reruns, restarts, and basic troubleshootingUnderstanding of job dependencies, conditions, and calendarsExposure to application integrations such as:InformaticaOracle DB / SQL ServerLinux / Windows environmentsNICE TO HAVEBasic scripting knowledge in Shell / Perl / VBSExposure to Control-M upgrades or patching (support role)Familiarity with ServiceNow or any ticketing systemKnowledge of file-based scheduling and file arrival conditionsAwareness of Control-M security and access rolesBMC Control-M certification (optional)ROLE RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop, modify, and maintain Control-M jobs, folders, and schedulesMonitor daily batch execution and respond to job failuresPerform job reruns, restarts, and dependency validationAssist senior admins in:Control-M upgrades and installationsCalendar maintenance and forecastingEvent Manager rule creationAnalyze user requests and help automate or improve existing job flowsMaintain accurate scheduling definitions across DEV / QA / PRODProvide Level-1 / Level-2 production support for Control-M-related issuesWork with Unix/Linux teams to troubleshoot script or environment issuesDocument job flows and assist in knowledge transfer
