Job Description The Assistant Officer – Support Logistics will support day-to-day logistics and field operations, including loading and unloading activities, material movement, and coordination with transporters and internal teams. The role involves hands-on field work, ensuring timely execution of logistics activities and accurate documentation while strictly adhering to safety norms and company policies. The candidate should have 8–12 years of logistics experience, working knowledge of SAP, strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and a good understanding of commercial and domestic trade practices. Knowledge of IT systems, compliance requirements, safety standards, and the ability to work in the field are essential. Strong communication, planning, and people management skills are required to ensure safe and efficient logistics operations. Principal Accountabilities The Assistant Officer – Support Logistics will be responsible for coordinating and supervising day-to-day logistics and field operations, including loading and unloading activities, material movement, and on-site execution. The role involves close coordination with transporters, drivers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient logistics operations. The officer will ensure strict compliance with all safety norms, statutory requirements, and company policies during warehouse and field activities. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate logistics documentation, monitoring inventory movement, and supporting stock reconciliation. The role requires performing logistics transactions in SAP, preparing MIS reports and data analysis using Microsoft Excel, and creating professional PowerPoint presentations for operational and management reviews.
