Role Overview The Academic Executive plays a key role in supporting and strengthening the institution’s academic framework. The position focuses on academic planning, execution, monitoring, and coordination with teaching staff to ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment. The role requires close collaboration with Academic Heads, Principals, and HODs to ensure effective implementation of curriculum, lesson planning, and academic processes. 2. Key Responsibilities 2.1 Academic Planning & Execution Manage and execute the campus academic plan Support curriculum delivery and lesson plan implementation Ensure alignment with institutional academic objectives Monitor academic performance and initiate corrective actions 2.2 Lesson Plan Management Review lesson plans (objectives, methodologies, teaching aids, evaluation methods) Ensure timely submission, approval, and implementation of lesson plans Maintain lesson plan trackers and documentation Coordinate with teachers and content developers for finalization 2.3 Syllabus & Academic Tracking Monitor syllabus coverage across subjects and grades Identify deviations and report to academic leadership Ensure timely completion as per academic calendar 2.4 Assessment & Examination Management Review question papers for accuracy, alignment, and quality Ensure adherence to syllabus and exam schedules Monitor uploading and documentation of exam materials Support analysis of student performance and assessments 2.5 Teacher Coordination & Support Liaise with teaching staff to improve instructional quality Address academic queries and provide necessary support Assist in training new teachers on academic systems and policies Facilitate collaboration among departments 2.6 Academic Administration Provide administrative support to academic committees Maintain academic records, reports, and documentation Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual academic reports Manage academic data, trackers, and dashboards 2.7 LMS & Technology Integration Ensure proper usage of LMS platforms for lesson plans, homework, and assessments Track content uploads and academic activities Coordinate digital academic processes 2.8 Quality Assurance & Compliance Ensure adherence to academic standards and institutional policies Support audits, reporting, and validation processes Maintain quality benchmarks in teaching and learning 3. Operational Responsibilities Daily Review and verify lesson plans Follow up with teachers on academic deliverables Track LMS updates and academic activities Monitor reports such as DARs and observation reports Weekly Review syllabus coverage and academic plans Collect and analyze HOD/HOI reports Maintain lesson plan trackers and academic reports Coordinate academic meetings and follow-ups Periodic Review assessments and question papers Analyze student performance data Ensure exam readiness and compliance Annual Support academic calendar planning and execution Assist in workshops, training, and development programs Monitor institutional academic performance Support academic initiatives and school programs 4. Qualifications & Experience Postgraduate degree (preferred) Minimum 2+ years in academics 3+ years in administrative or coordination roles Strong understanding of school academic processes 5. Skills & Competencies Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and coordination abilities Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and process orientation 6. Key Expectations Maintain high academic standards Ensure timely execution of academic plans Support teachers and academic leadership effectively Drive continuous improvement in academic processes Act proactively to resolve academic challenges 7.
