Job title:Tamil > English Translator / Subtitler Workplace:Work from Home Employment type:Freelance Number of Hours:A minimum of15 hoursup to40 hours per week .Job Requirements: Project scope: We are working one of a leading AI-powered dubbing and localization companies for the entertainment industry - support them in finding talent to help them produce localized and dubbed content for TV, films, documentaries and series. They require bilingual Creative Linguists and QC reviewers to work directly into their platform ‘Composer Go’. Working with an auto transcription plus English machine translation (MT) supplied in the platform, the CL will review and post-edit to ensure the English copy matches the source content, after which the QC will complete the final review and check to ensure all content has been included and localized. This project is live, and the client has work available immediately to assign so we require people to start asap! Your role would be part of a team effort, sharing the workload.Roles Creative Linguist / Editoris the primary reviewer, responsible for ensuring the transcription is accurate, natural, and creatively adapted. Key responsibilities include creative adaptation, comprehensive review, technical checks, updating missing tracks, contextual accuracy.QC Reviewerperforms the final sign-off to check the localized film content has been translated correctly and complete anything missed by the Creative Linguist. Key responsibilities include final quality gatekeeper, language polishing, compliance check, objective review.Both roles require abilingual knowledge of your language and Englishand a deep understanding of both cultures.
