Senior Operations Associate (German-Speaking)About Amber Amber is a leading global student accommodation platform—think of it as the booking platform for student housing.” We help over 80M students worldwide find and book long-term accommodation near their universities without the hassle of negotiations, paperwork, or fragmented payment processes.Key Responsibilities Assist students ( German-speaking market ) in booking accommodation for short-term and long-term stays Act as a bridge between students and property partners to ensure seamless bookings Manage inbound and outbound communication via calls, email, WhatsApp, and CRM tools Build strong relationships with students to drive conversions and repeat engagement Maintain high conversion rates and meet assigned targets Handle end-to-end booking support, including queries, follow-ups, and issue resolution Deliver excellent customer experience and contribute to team performanceSkills Required Fluency in German (spoken) is mandatory+ good command of English Strong communication and active listening skills Good time management and planning abilities Objection handling and negotiation skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment Familiarity with CRM tools or similar systems Qualifications Graduate (minimum 60% in academics) 0–3 years of experience (customer-facing roles preferred) Experience in sales, operations, customer service, or hospitality is a plus Exposure to international markets (especially Europe/Germany) is an advantage Work Timings Working inEuropean/UK shift (rotational)– non-negotiable Work from office (Monday to Friday) What You’ll Get at Amber Fast-paced career growth opportunities High-performance and collaborative work culture Strong focus on employee wellbeing Exposure to global markets and customers
