This role will be instrumental in managing the Spotfire platform and enabling data-driven insights for Clinical Development, Biometrics, Clinical Operations, and Safety teams.Role Details Role: Spotfire Administrator / Clinical Visualization Engineer Type: Contract Experience: 8+ Years Openings: US Local Candidate – 1 Position India Resource – 1 Position Support Hours: US PST Time Zone (India resource with overlap)Position Summary The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with TIBCO Spotfire administration, automation, and clinical data visualization, along with strong domain understanding of clinical trial data (CDM, EDC, SDTM, ADaM, Safety). You will work closely on a 1:1 basis with the Chief of Staff – Clinical Development and associated stakeholders to support new study requirements, complex calculations, data loading, testing, and advanced analytics.Key Responsibilities Spotfire Platform Administration Manage Spotfire Server and Automation Services across environments (Test, Prod) Configure and maintain data source connections (Oracle, Snowflake, SAS, AWS Redshift, SQL Server) Administer libraries, groups, licenses, and permissions per data governance standards Perform upgrades, patches, and hotfixes, ensuring system stability Optimize dashboard performance (complex calculations, caching, data loads) Automate data refreshes and report scheduling Partner with IT GxP teams to ensure validation and compliance Clinical Data Integration & Analytics Work with clinical data domains including: EDC (Veeva), CTMS (CRO) SDTM, ADaM datasets Clinical operations metrics (enrollment, monitoring, queries) Safety data (AE, SAE, MedDRA) Collaborate with CDM, Biostatistics, Clinical Operations teams Build, validate, and maintain clinical dashboards (enrollment, site performance, data cleaning) Collaboration & Governance Partner with IT programmers, EDC programmers, Safety scientists, and study teams Develop prototypes and analytics aligned with business requirements Maintain system documentation, change controls, and validation artifacts Support 21 CFR Part 11 complianceQualifications & Experience Required Extensive experience with Spotfire Server, Analyst, Automation Services Strong clinical domain knowledge (EDC, SAS, SDTM, ADaM, Clinical Ops data) Strong SQL skills and experience with Oracle, Snowflake, SAS datasets Experience integrating Spotfire with R, Python, R Shiny, or SAS Knowledge of GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and validated systems Experience with AWS or Azure-hosted Spotfire environments Exposure to RBM dashboards and clinical visualization templatesInterested candidates can apply directly or connect via LinkedIn message with their profile.
